Playground Soccer

We believe it is very important that even the youngest players are given proper instruction, in a fun-filled environment, during their earliest experience with the sport.  Our Playground Soccer program uses soccer to help develop motor skills.

  • Includes 20 Training Sessions throughout the Fall and Spring (Weather Permitting)
  • For boys and girls 3 years old
  • Small trainer/player ratios
  • No parent coaches
  • All sessions are run by NY Red Bulls trainers
  • Program includes 1 hour sessions on Saturdays 
  • No traveling
  • Sessions are on fields in the Village of Irvington

Pre Travel Recreation Soccer

We believe it is very important that even the youngest players are given proper instruction, in a fun-filled environment, during their earliest experience with the sport.  Our Pre Travel program takes the emphasis off "results", and replaces it with a structured developmental approach.

  • Includes 40 Training Sessions throughout the Fall and Spring (Weather Permitting)
  • For boys and girls 4-8 years old
  • For players of all skill levels
  • Players are grouped by age and skill level
  • Small trainer/player ratios
  • No parent coaches
  • All sessions are run by NY Red Bulls trainers
  • Program includes 1 hour sessions on both Saturdays and Sundays
  • Saturday sessions focus on instruction and player development
  • Sunday sessions focus on small sided games
  • No traveling
  • Sessions are on fields in the Village of Irvington

Travel Teams

Greenburgh United has travel teams for boys and girls from the U8 through U15 levels.  Our club teams play within the Westchester Youth Soccer league (WYSL), one of the largest leagues in US Club Soccer.

  • Travel teams are open to all players regardless of where they live
  • For players of all skill levels
  • Boys and girls play on separate teams
  • No parent trainers/coaches
  • All travel teams have professional trainers/coaches
  • Trainers run all practices and coach on game days
  • Teams have 2-90 minute practices each week
  • Teams play games against other clubs on Sundays
  • Placement on a travel team is determined through an evaluation process
